Our programs are designed to challenge, excite, and push students to discover what they’re truly capable of. Instead of following traditional pacing, we accelerate learning through hands-on projects, real-world problem solving, and high expectations.

Virtual Courses

Grades 3 - 5

African Studies |  Grades 3 – 5

Students explore the histories, cultures, people, and achievements of Africa through engaging, age-appropriate lessons. The course helps students develop historical knowledge, cultural understanding, and curiosity about the African continent and its global influence.

Coding | Grades 3 – 5

Students build foundational coding skills through hands-on, age-appropriate projects. They learn computational thinking, problem-solving, sequencing, and basic programming concepts while creating their own digital projects.

African Studies |  Grades 9 – 12

Students engage in an in-depth study of African history, beginning with pre-colonial African civilizations, societies, and intellectual traditions. Through readings, discussion, research, and analysis, students examine Africa on its own terms while developing stronger historical reasoning and critical-thinking skills.

Pre-Calculus |  Grades 9 – 12

This rigorous course prepares students for calculus and advanced mathematics through the study of functions, algebraic relationships, trigonometry, and mathematical modeling. Students strengthen problem-solving and quantitative reasoning while applying mathematics to increasingly complex problems.

Bridge to Brilliance STEM Scholars Program, Grades 8 – 11
The Bridge to Brilliance STEM Scholars Program is a selective, application-based experience where students receive mentorship and engage in career-aligned, innovative STEM projects designed to build advanced skills and leadership. Scholars work closely with mentors, develop real-world solutions, and prepare for future academic and professional pathways. The program runs Tuesdays from 4:30–6:00 PM, September through June—apply today.

AI Explorer, Grades 7 – 12
In the age of artificial intelligence, students should understand not just how to use technology—but how it actually works. In AI Explorer, students become behind-the-scenes experts, learning to code, build, and apply machine learning models in a rigorous, hands-on virtual environment. This program runs on Sunday afternoons—enroll today for next year’s cohort.

Medicine x Engineering (Grades 9–12)
Interested in becoming a doctor or working in healthcare?

In this program, students explore how medicine and engineering work together to solve real health challenges. You won’t just learn—you’ll build, design, and investigate.

Students will:
• Learn how the human body works
• Explore projects in medicine

This is a hands-on program for students who want to think bigger about their future.

Teen Talk: Music & Self-Expression, Ages 14-17

Teen Talk: Music & Self-Expression is a mentorship program that builds students creativity and their ability to emotionally process the world around them. It is designed to help teens build confidence, identity, and communication through structured dialogue and creative expression. Students receive weekly mentorship where they discuss key issues affecting teenagers today. Students use their experiences to create original works that reflect their experiences and ideas.

Imbali Reading Program, K-6

Imbali Reading is an accelerated literacy program for grades K–6 designed to move students forward faster than traditional instruction. Students read engaging texts while working with a reading specialist to develop advanced comprehension, vocabulary, and analytical skills.

Dessalines STEAM Academy Microschool, K-12

Dessalines S.T.E.A.M. Academy Microschool is a non- traditional school that combines:

Accelerated Academics that move students beyond grade level work
Hands-On STEM Learning through real engineering and design work
Inquiry-Driven Projects that require students to research, question, and solve
Leadership Development, where students build confidence, take ownership, and present their thinking
Mentorship – through advisory and guidance from trusted adults
A Culturally Rooted Curriculum, including learning Haitian-Creole & African and African American Studies
